COLLABORATION

FOOD TEXTILE has been chosen to design the uniforms for the new Harajuku store.

2020.6.19

FOOD TEXTILE utilized dye extracted from discarded tea leaves from the authentic tea store "THE ALLEY"(http://www.the-alley.jp/)known for its concept of "falling in love with tea.
" These uniforms will be introduced starting June 23rd (Tuesday) at the grand opening of "THE ALLEY Harajuku."

Using the leftover tea leaves from the popular tea blend "Royal No.9," specially crafted by tea masters, the fabric is dyed in a gentle earth-toned brown.
This unique material has been used to create exclusive aprons and cut-and-sew tops for THE ALLEY.

【Apron】
An apron made from 100% cotton twill fabric dyed with a gentle camel-colored dye extracted from tea leaves.
Designed exclusively for THE ALLEY, the apron features original specifications, including the number and dimensions of pockets, ensuring functionality for staff during their work.

【Cut-and-Sew Top】
The cut-and-sew top is dyed in a natural yellow hue using dye extracted from tea leaves. While simple,
the design incorporates thoughtful details such as a Henley neck, stitching, and side slits, resulting in a stylish and refined look.
