FOOD TEXTILE is a sustainable project brand that provides materials and products
that have been made using dye extracted from components in vegetables bound for unused food ingredients.

Manufacturing process

①Food ingredients bound for underutilization is collected.
The amount of food loss in Japan has been decreasing in recent years,
but it remains a significant issue.

② Components are extracted from food.
Japanese food manufacturers pride themselves in maintaining the highest-level security and safety.
Dye is manufactured using a unique technique. This is an original Japanese technique

③ Dye is manufactured using a unique technique.
This is an original Japanese technique

④ Multiple color dyes are produced from one food item.
The number of colors produced exceed 500 colors from 50 food items.

⑤ Dyes are applied to cotton, thread, cloth and products.
All methods, including top dyeing, yarn dyeing, piece dyeing, and product dyeing, can be addressed.

⑥ FOOD TEXTILE items are produced.
This project is made possible because we are a textile trading company handling both upstream and downstream operations.
