GREENable HIRUZEN × WIND AND SEA
Collaboration 2021.6.19(SAT) DROP

This summer, a new tourist facility, GREENable HIRUZEN, will open in the Hiruzen Highlands (Maniwa City, Okayama Prefecture).
The facility is based on the concept of "coexistence between people and nature," offering programs that turn nature conservation activities into enjoyable "activities" rather than "tasks." Through experiences in the magnificent natural surroundings, the facility aims to inspire visitors to adopt a sustainable lifestyle effortlessly.

Maniwa City, home to the Hiruzen Highlands, is known as a leading municipality in sustainable initiatives across Japan.
Examples include the "Maniwa Biomass Power Plant," which converts thinned wood and wood scraps from the timber industry into renewable energy, the "Maniwa Satoumi Rice," which uses oyster shells discarded in the Seto Inland Sea as a soil conditioner for rice paddies, and "bio-liquid fertilizer," which transforms food waste into agricultural fertilizer.
The region is a model for the future, showcasing concentrated sustainable practices.

For this collaboration, the GREENable HIRUZEN × WIND AND SEA collection incorporates FOOD TEXTILE fabrics.

The lineup includes special items such as T-shirts featuring the SEA logo made from fabric scraps that would otherwise have been discarded.
