Takeout FUROSHIKI made with used coffee grounds for dyeing
2021.10.21
Armani / Ristorante, known for its enthusiastic efforts towards the SDGs and its "Lost Food Menu" initiative using ingredients that would otherwise go to waste, has introduced FUROSHIKI dyed with FOOD TEXTILE for their takeout menu "BENTO BOX.
" The FUROSHIKI is used to wrap the BENTO BOX for takeout.
The FUROSHIKI fabric prepared for the BENTO BOX is dyed using coffee grounds collected from Armani / Ristorante and Emporio Armani Caffè. The fabric itself is made from organic cotton that was originally destined for disposal due to surplus quantities. Through FOOD TEXTILE's unique dyeing techniques, the FUROSHIKI features a gentle beige hue extracted from coffee beans,
perfectly complementing the interior color scheme of Armani / Ristorante.
This soft-toned FUROSHIKI enhances the appeal of the BENTO BOX, which is crafted with the finest ingredients. Experience Armani / Ristorante's new BENTO BOX, a creation that is kind to both the environment and people.
