FOOD TEXTILE has been adopted as a material for the 2023 Spring/Summer collection "Natural Way ~ FOOD WASTE MADE BEAUTIFUL" by ICICLE, a brand that selects high-quality natural materials and creates products with ethical considerations.
"Natural Way" is positioned as a seasonal collection that explores the concept, creation, and production of clothing in the most natural way possible.
The gentle and soft color palette, made possible by FOOD TEXTILE's natural dyeing process, brings a refreshing summer vibe, offering joy and empathy to wearers while promoting deeper harmony between fashion, the environment, and people.
The colors used in this collection are derived from materials such as discarded coffee grounds, lettuce, matcha, red turnip, purple cabbage, and echinacea, sourced from farms and cafes.
Elegant women's wear and accessories featuring these colors have been available for purchase since March 21st at the Umeda Hankyu store and from March 29th at the Shinjuku Isetan store.
